The Queensland Containers for Change scheme accepts many drink containers between 150 mL and 3 L. Eligibility depends on the individual container, so check for the 10-cent refund mark or scan its barcode using the scheme’s official app before you bring it in.

Check before you load

Separate out anything you are unsure about and use the official eligibility checker. Keeping the refund mark or barcode readable makes it easier to confirm the container.

Plan your visit

Crystal Ailan’s refund point is at Lot 200 Tamwoy Street, Badu Island. Call ahead to confirm current opening hours, how the team would like containers prepared and the available refund or donation arrangements. This is especially important for a large load.

Keep the journey manageable

Use secure bags or containers that can be safely handled and transported. If your return requires collection or special access, discuss the location and volume with the team before moving it.
